Exploring

Phenomena

about

We are quite interested in quantum phenomena emerging in condensed matter that are related to the spin, orbital, and charge degree of freedom of electrons. Our research focuses on spintronics, frustrated magnetism, iron-based superconductivity etc.

Features in our research style can be found in combinations of microscopic measurements using neutrons, muons and X-ray at large facilities, with materials growth, characterisation, and macroscopic physical properties measurements in the laboratory. We aim for understanding the principles of macroscopic quantum phenomena in matter and acquiring guidelines for better materials for future applications.

Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in developing novel materials or are willing to be an all-arounder in condensed matter physics research.
